A curaCapture device allows for manual patient registration through its touch screen if needed, but we think the capture devices should get the data from the network just like any other modality.
In order to get the scheduled procedures onto the device, we have a variety these options:
- Manual input
- Excel Spreadsheet via USB
- DICOM Worklist
Most customers have the ability to provide a DICOM Worklist from their patient registration software. If they don’t we can provide our curaWorklist Broker to supply the worklist via the network.
All images and videos taken are directly synced to our curaArchiving* solution with live updating. Meaning you can follow the procedures from any connected curaSmartClient. When the procedure is closed on the capture device the procedure reporting workflow is initiated** waiting for the report to be written. It is pre-populated with procedure data and the images. Also the user is able to import still images from the videos recorded.
The resulting report usually is a PDF file which can then be printed out or shared electronically.
* When connected to a standard PACS we send still images to it. Some PACS systems also provide DICOM Video MPEG2 support and accept videos too.
** Now the images/videos are also handed over to long term storage. Either an existing PACS or a curaStorage solution.
